These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer from Seek ’n Hide and to every distance contract concluded between Seek ’n Hide and the consumer, in accordance with Dutch law.

1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions:

  1. Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with Seek ’n Hide.

  2. Cooling-off period: the period within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal.

  3. Right of withdrawal: the consumer’s ability to withdraw from the distance contract within the cooling-off period.

  4. Distance contract: a contract concluded between the merchant and the consumer within the framework of an organised system for distance selling.

  5. Durable medium: any tool that enables the consumer or trader to store information addressed to them personally.

  6. Merchant / We / Us: Seek ’n Hide.

  7. Day: calendar day.

3. Applicability

  1. These terms apply to every offer and distance contract between Seek ’n Hide and the consumer.

  2. Before concluding the contract, the text of these terms will be made available to the consumer.

  3. If any part of these terms becomes void or invalid, all other provisions remain applicable. The void or invalid provision will be replaced with a legally valid one that reflects the intention as closely as possible.

4. The Offer

  1. If an offer is subject to a limited validity period or conditions, this will be clearly stated.

  2. The offer contains a complete, accurate description of the products offered.

  3. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Seek ’n Hide.

5. The Agreement

  1. The contract is established when the consumer accepts the offer and meets the stated conditions.

  2. After placing an order, the consumer receives a confirmation by email.

  3. Seek ’n Hide may refuse an order if there are clear indications of fraud or misuse.

6. Right of Withdrawal

  1. Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving any reason.

  2. During the cooling-off period the consumer must handle the product and packaging carefully.

  3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify Seek ’n Hide via email.

7. Obligations During the Cooling-Off Period

  1. The consumer may only handle or inspect the product as necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning—similar to how it would be allowed in a physical store.

  2. If the consumer handles the product beyond what is permitted, resulting in decreased value, the consumer is responsible for that depreciation.

8. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal & Returns

  1. The consumer must notify us within 14 days of receipt via info@seeknhide.com.

  2. After notification, products must be returned within 14 days.

  3. Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer unless otherwise stated.

  4. Returns must be sent unused, unwashed, undamaged, and with original tags and packaging.

  5. After receiving the return, Seek ’n Hide will refund the consumer within 14 days, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

9. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The following cannot be returned:

  1. Worn, washed, or damaged items.

  2. Items without original tags or packaging.

  3. Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., underwear) where the seal has been broken.

  4. Custom-made or personalised products.

10. Prices

  1. Prices listed in the webshop include VAT and exclude shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.

  2. During the validity period stated in the offer, the prices will not be increased except due to VAT changes or printing errors.

11. Shipping & Delivery

  1. Seek ’n Hide will handle orders with care and dispatch them within the stated processing time.

  2. If delivery is delayed or cannot be fulfilled, the consumer will be notified within a reasonable time.

  3. Risk of damage or loss transfers to the consumer once the order has been delivered to the address provided.

12. Payment

  1. Payments must be made using the available payment methods in the webshop.

  2. If payment fails or is reversed, Seek ’n Hide may suspend delivery.

13. Warranty & Complaints

  1. Seek ’n Hide guarantees that products comply with the agreement and applicable Dutch consumer law.

  2. Complaints must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect.

  3. Consumers can submit complaints via info@seeknhide.com.

  4. Seek ’n Hide will respond within 14 days.

  5. If a defect is confirmed, Seek ’n Hide will repair, replace, or refund the product.

14. Liability

  1. Seek ’n Hide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, except where required by mandatory Dutch law.

  2. Our total liability will never exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.

15. Force Majeure

Seek ’n Hide is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: strikes, natural disasters, disruptions in transport, government restrictions, or failure of suppliers.

16. Privacy & Data Protection

Seek ’n Hide processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Dutch privacy law.

17. Applicable Law & Disputes

  1. All agreements between the consumer and Seek ’n Hide are governed by Dutch law.

  2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
